Trips leave at 7 AM and 1 - 2 PM.
3.5, 5 and 8 Hour Trips available Michigan license required. Canadian License recommended. We will fillet your catch and send them home. You are responsible for any other cleaning of the fish. |
Walleye in the Mighty DWelcome to the D, where the world's best walleye fishing happens. Every years millions upon millions of walleye run the Detroit. Early in the year big pre-spawn walleye come up the Detroit looking to spawn. As the spring progresses, the big walleye migration happens. This is the time where you catch limits of these tasty fish.
When the water is cold we will use plastics on a jig, and possibly some scent. The jig is slow as we slowly slip down the river. As the water warms the jig twitch gets more vicious. There is nothing better than bouncing your jig off the bottom of the river and a feisty walleye hammers it. As the water warms up, we will switch over to trolling crawler harnesses down the river. We will troll down river just a little faster than the current. This is a a lot of fun. |
